Wine Tasting

Wine tasting is the best way to not only find wines you like, but also to begin (or to broaden) your wine knowledge. As with art, music, or sports, the more you know the more you will enjoy the hunt for new and interesting wines to share with friends and family.

The majority of the Seneca Lake wineries have tasting rooms with friendly, knowledgeable staff to pour samples and explain what you are sampling. Don't be afraid to ask questions, the staff love it when you do! Some charge a nominal fee to try the wines. Wine tasting, of course, is legally limited to those over age 21, so don't forget your proof of age when touring the Finger Lakes.

Each wine is unique, each winery's style is different and Mother Nature makes sure that each vintage year has its own character. So come and taste the wines with us!
