Take in the splendor of some of the most beautiful waterfalls in New York State right here in Schuyler County. The hikes are varying skill levels; Please exercise caution.


These falls are open to the public:

Watkins Glen State Park / State Route 14 Downtown Watkins Glen (Franklin Street): Pluto Falls, Central Cascade, Rainbow Falls & Cavern Cascade -- These are just 4 of the 19 waterfalls that grace the Watkins Glen State Park gorge.

800 steps up. Not handicap accessible. Challenging hike.


Excelsior Glen Falls
/ State Route 414 North, Just Outside the Village of Watkins Glen. Challenging hike. Not handicap accessible


Twin Falls
/ Watkins Glen, Templar Road


Aunt Sarah's Falls
/ Montour Falls, State Route 14. Roadside. Handicap accessible.


Shequaga Falls
/ Montour Falls, Genesee Street. 160'. Roadside. Handicap accessible.


Deckertown Falls
/ Montour Falls, Catlin Street, off of South L'Hommedieu Street


Havana Glen Gorge /
Montour Falls, Havana Glen Road, off of State Route 14: Eagle Cliff Falls. Not handicap accesible, somewhat challenging hike.


Finger Lakes National Forest
/ Hector: Gorge Trail Falls, Ravine Trail Falls


Hector Falls
/ Hector, State Route 414, North of Watkins Glen. 165'. Roadside.
