The Finger Lakes region is enclosed by a system of high-speed highways, providing excellent interstate access to Watkins Glen and Schuyler County. Schuyler County is only 45 miles south of State Route 90 (New York State Thruway), 16 miles north of State Route 17 (Interstate 86).

Air transportation can be obtained via the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport, 20 miles South of Watkins Glen outside of Elmira; the Ithaca-Tompkins Regional Airport, 30 miles East of Watkins Glen outside of Ithaca; and the Rochester International Airport, 1 hour drive and the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, 1.5 hour drive from Watkins Glen.

Also available at each airport are charter flights, limousine services, car rentals. Taxi service is available in Schuyler County/Watkins Glen as well as limousine and van (Bud-Co Tours/607-546-6100) service.
